At the present, there are 58 Fraternities of Penance registered at the General Council of Brotherhoods and Confraternities responsible for the processions during the Seville’s Holy Week. The Council also forms the Brotherhoods of Glory, which, unlike those of the “penance”, do not march during the Holy Week.
