Bands of Holy Week
These music bands form part of the procession with the Easter floats, accompanying them the entire route. Some of them count with a junior or infant section.
Following the style of the old Guardia Civil Commanders’ of Eritaña band they usually accompany the floats of “Christ” or “Mystery”. The compositions are based on the trumpet which is timed with other instruments such as trombones, tubas, flugelhorns, and cymbals
Following the style of the old National Police band they accompany the floats of “Christ” or “Mystery”. Their compositions are based on the bugles, although, other types of brass instruments such as trumpets and flugelhorns are also played.
In general they are the ones in charge of the musical accompaniment of the “canopy” floats and interpret the most typical procession marches of the Virgin Maries’ floats. They are complete bands made up of brass instruments (trumpets, flugelhorns, tubas, trombones, saxhorns, saxophone, and flutes) and woodwind instruments (clarinets, oboes and bassoons) and also bugles and drums.
