At the present, there are 19 Fraternities of Penance registered at the General Council of Brotherhoods and Confraternities responsible for the processions during the Almeria’s Holy Week. The Council also forms the Brotherhoods of Glory, which, unlike those of the “penance”, do not march during the Holy Week.
